Battersea Power Station to serve expensive sandwiches

Battersea Power Station could be the new home of overly pretentious sandwiches it’s been revealed. The plans would also see waiter service, overpriced tickets and dubious Thai massages make a move to the former power station under specs drawn up by some corporate hospitality specialists.

A spokesman for such rip-offs claimed ‘we’ve been operating out of the Stamford Bridge area for some time now but we’re just finding we can’t expand our gourmet kitchens to a size that we would like. It can also be very distracting on a Saturday afternoon when a bunch of hippies invade our lawn and start screaming at each other. It can be rather off putting for the guests.’

The new site could host as many as 60,000 corporate suits and VIP packages on any given day and head chef at Stamford Bridge Uppe Yuself said the opportunity was just too good to turn down. He claimed ’sometimes we still get a commoner turn up at Stamford Bridge, and quite simply it makes me want to throw up my salmon.’
